The gas ball valve GW-GW type G18 with butterfly handle is a compact shut-off valve for domestic gas installations. With a nominal diameter DN15 and 1/2" female–female connection, it works well as a main or sectional gas shut-off in residential systems, acting as a reliable 1/2 inch gas valve in both new and modernised installations.


The valve operates at a nominal pressure of MOP5 (5 bar) and in a temperature range from -20°C to 60°C, so it suits typical natural gas conditions. The integrated gland provides stable stem sealing, while the butterfly handle enables quick, intuitive operation even in tight spaces. Carefully selected internal geometry supports efficient flow for a DN15 ball valve without unnecessary pressure loss in the line.


The body and ball are made of brass, giving high resistance to corrosion and mechanical wear in long-term use. PTFE ball seals and a combination of PTFE and NBR70 O-ring on the stem enhance tightness and reduce the risk of gas leaks. The nut–nut connection simplifies installation on standard threaded pipes, and the compact dimensions of 50 x 25 x 60 mm help when space around the gas line is limited.
